My Poetry on Poettree magazine America

Unfiled

Poettree magazine is a magazine in the US for Poets and Artists all over the world.
Poettree is also a member of BITAW collective.
http://bitawcollective.ning.com/
And I'm a proud member of Bitaw.
Whenever my senses are working...
whenever my heart breaks into pieces...
and whenever the sun shines above me fearlessly,
I turn to Bitaw and to my other blogs and free my spirit endlessly...
"Journey to a wall of a missing soul"
was the last poem i posted on Bitaw.

And 3 days ago, the strangest and most wonderful thing happened.
Vagner of Poettree magazine left me a message on Bitaw.

To this day, I still smile like the sunshine. I've never smiled so much...
It's hard to express what happened so i will just relay the conversation I had with Poettree.

Vagner:
"may i use that poem in the next issue of poet tree magazine? can i read some of your works?

Me:
"Yes you may, and it would be my pleasure. =)
Let me know when you intend to publish my poem in your magazine. Thanks for your interest in my poetries."

Vagner:
"Journey to a wall of a missing soul" is the poem I would like to use. I think it is wonderful.
I am friends with Miko and have inteviewd him in the last issue. When u get a chance please send me what you have I would like to use a few of them.
I'm working on sending Miko a few copies so everyone can see the magazine.

Thank you.

You are a great poet.

Me: "You have my humble permission to use
"Journey to a wall of a missing soul"  for Poettree magazine's next issue.
I will send you more poetry soon.

Will you be posting my poetry online  too, on Poettreemagazine.com?

Thank you for your email which kept me smiling all through out the day.
It's not everyday someone from Poettree magazine tells me "You're a great poet".. so if you say so... then I must believe I am. =)
Enjoy the rest of the day (As I definitely would!)

Vagner:
Yes we will be posting it online. The magazine will probably be coming out in Dec or Jan.
I will make sure to let you know. You will have all the update information. The website is slowly coming together and yours will be up there for the world to see as well.
I'm sure they will love it.

So there....
There's the story that has kept me smiling for days.
As I've told my sister Nityalila and Miko... maybe now i should start considering myself a Poet...
and finally... all these years of writing poetry since I was  9 years old...
All these writing I do, which I never really get acknowledged for...
finally,
Someone stopped to see its value...

Someone stopped to listen to the beat it delivers...
Someone stopped to smell the trail of its whiff..
Someone stopped to savor the sweetness of its character...
And Someone stopped to feel its mystery...

So thank you Vagner of Poetree magazine.

What a break to be part of this International magazine.
To be lined up with great poets like
Maya Angelou, Robert Frost, Lamont Carey, Tupac Shakur and ofcourse, Miko Aguilar.

So once again my friends, Here's the Poetry that Poettree magazine will be publishing.

"Journey to a wall of a missing soul"

To the ends of the earth
where dreams are conjured
where friendship and love were born
through the planes where a new unfamiliar life began
and death had no stay.
There unearthed the mistery of an abandoned gift,
of a strength of a flower, and of the making of an opus.

Yet here I am.
And
here now I witness
here now I discover
here now I reveal
devastated and unsure
that this journey I knitted for a thousand beginnings
to live and behold the strength and beauty of life
has deserted me. Deserted the beliefs I crafted out of love.
devastated and unsure
Still,
I remain thankful and uninterrupted.
For my dreams are not fractured.
My dreams are not bewildered.
And I will linger
as steady as a rock,
as strong as a pillar,
as gracious as a queen,
in this Journey where my life will go on unveiling.
Drawing from its existence. Speaking for itself.
